today started off to be a crappy day. lets not talk abt it. lets just put it nicely and say AC's appeal process is one helluva troublesome one. -sigh- its like today's hiccup was either a test on my determination to enter AC or an omen. since i've not much of a particular wish to pop over to AC (read: it only has a good location & good subject combinations) i think it was an omen. right now i'm still contemplating on whether to actually pop over to the school again. -sigh-

so after that, i met gennie and iz. got lost abit but eventually found our way. went to holland v. i would like to advertise something: near the magazine stalls, outside this grand shop (no idea wad it is), there's this old lady sitting at the side selling malt candy. the malt candy is good. and i usually dont like sweet stuff so if i say its good. it must be hellaaaaaa good. and its good karma. the karma-mama will bless u with good karmic returns! the poor old lady just sits there. waiting for someone to patronize her. and when iz bot one from the auntie. i cldnt help myself but i bot one stick too. its really quite good!!!! and the one dollar may mean just a less expensive meal for us but the dollar means a lot more to her. maybe electric bills or somefing. at least she's doing something to support herself. i've seen old men probbie a good five years younger than her actually begging from random people at hawker centres and coffeeshops for lunch. so please. do ur part to help the aging population have a positive outsight.

or all u married couples can just go crazy with vaseline and honey and chocolate sauce and help the ailing birth rate. hehz.

after that we met yeu ai and went round searching for an Es Teller 77 tt wld accept gennie's $50 voucher. and we ended up at paya lebar's (or rather geylang - the good side of it) City Plaza. Es Teller 77 has excellent indon food at economic prices. well. maybe not so economic. think "Let's Eat" (at Lot 1) or "Sakura". The fish was HEAVENLY. it was fried to a crisp then slathered with this sweet sour dark sauce. the fish was so crispy that the bones were edible. so yay - extra calcium intake! and the chicken wings were mm~ mm~ GooD! altho the chicken wings' pricing were a tad steep. but. hey. it was free.

after that we went shopping around City Plaza then we popped over to Bugis for awhile.

It was a good day of bonding between the "Covalent Molecule Group" or half of the "Punsters"(so aptly named by gennie and me respectively.) pundon... oops i mean pardon.. the pun. =)
