my seventeenth birthday was a blast. it really was. and i have so many people to thank for it.
firstly, albert!!! yes yes. he doesnt read my blog no doubt, but!!! nonetheless. i shud thank him. (besides its a very good memory to keep.) he brought me out for a very very very nice eve on thursday evening. he paid for dinner at yuki yaki. sushi-steamboat-DIY icecream buffet. i think some of u may know the place. its at cineleisure. and fuck! it was expensive!!! like FRIGGIN EXPENSIVE. and when i met him for dinner, i didnt expect him to pay u noe. he OFFERED. and the bill came up to $45.80. its so nice of him. and furthermore, we're not like super close u noe. so it was a very very nice gesture. =)
after tt he suggested a movie, so i agreed. (its not in my style to go home too early.) and he wanted to pay for the tickets! and i was so SHOCKED. but i refused to let him pay. so i paid for the tickets myself. all my independant women, throw them hands up at me!! anyway. we watched Valiant. not a bad show. kinda short tho. damned pigeons were cute but not quite worth the money i think. =\ i still think finding nemo was the best animated cartoon i've ever watched. and it brings back all my punster days!
the next day, THE DAY, i woke up 45mins late for school! my god!!! i didnt hear the alarm on my phone ring (either that or i did and i switched it off. yes all FIVE of them.) and guess wad woke me up finally at 6.36am? a happy birthday message from SHAOWEI! yes. hot piano player in 406. always made everyone (at least most of the girls) dreamy whenever he sat in front of the piano in the AVA theatrette. -swoons- so i can say he literally saved my ass.
miraculously, i reached school in time! hahaha. cuz i rushed out of the house within 15mins. its a record i tell ya! a mofo-ing record! then i went to look for marie and she gave me this really cute book for my friends to write their profiles in and everything. and hers was on the first page with a picture of the cow from cow and chicken. moo-rehhhh~ hahaha. and she gave me this small chart. its a grid full of little inspirational quotes and u're supposed to close ur eyes and point at it so whatever u point at, will be the advice for the day. damned cute.
yanzhang saw me in the morning and the first thing he said, or rather mouthed was happy birthday! so nice =) its nice that people rmbed my birthday. then when the class came down for assembly, the girls (soumya jean michelle cheryl) wished me happy birthday! like how nice was tt! so class proceeded on as usual. no big fuss. but it just seemed that i had miraculous luck that day. and i was being quite the impudent little imp. i challenged my GP teacher and she banged into a wall. if u get what i mean and my classmates were all like silently amused. SCORE! =x
so PE came. and it was time to play HANDBALL! hahaha. handball is kinda cool. like netball + bball + soccer. so we had to run 1 round round the track. then i was running with the girls. then nearing the end of the round, they ambushed me and pushed me to the ground and TAUPOKED me! hahaha. i was screaming my lungs out. never once did i stop screaming. it was just continuous scream after scream after scream. hahaha but it was hella funneh. got berated after that tho. but i cldnt stop smiling. after lesson, the whole class sang me a birthday song! so nice and unexpected. andden they taupoked me again. =\ justin ng bought me a chocolate oreo milkshake during break, partly i suspect, becuz he threw a ball into my stomach (i was goalie.)
after school, the bmt people took group photos. hahaha. i love photo whoring. and they got me a cake! chocolate! with candles and everything! andden they taupoked me. i swear, my breasts have gone considerably flatter. hahaha. den everyone ate and yuzheng smeared cake on my face. hahaha. ruizhen marie and tong gave me a stuffed snake from Ikea. We went out for dinner at the LAO DI FANG. yanny and taylen finished their food and ran off. when we were abt to pay yanny and taylen showed up with their nails painted and a bottled of nail polish for me. hahaha. so damn sweet and nice. =) really shocked me. i wonder what made them buy it tho. and it was awful cute.
anyway. so i'm just gonna list the people who i wanna thank simply becuz they made me feel speshal!!!
