i cant believe how perplexed i am abt some pple. you can spend alot of time with them and making the occasional joke. you go out of your way to stay out of their affairs, and if your paths cross, you're civil, sometimes even just slightly beyond tt. you're rarely interfering with them and yet they seem to want to push you into the corner so that you have no way out. either tt they treat you like a gnat and is so... so... so supportive of smacking you flat, even they dun go out of their way to do it but you noe they'll enjoy seeing your demise.

yet. there are some people you spent like a quarter of the time u've spent with the those other people and yet they care so much more for your survival. isnt it ironic?

i keep wondering. issit that the 2nd group of people are so much more... empathetic? sympathetic? or just generally more caring and humane? what of the first group? are they selfish? or are they simply following animal instinct and the laws of evolution and pushing for survival of the fittest?
