this miracle happened today..
#253: Creative Zen V Plus.
Guess whose baby this is!
Creative Zen V Plus 2GBHeh. No prizes for guessing who though.
Isn't it pretty?!?!?! It's smaller than the size of my palm so more or less I'm pretty much one of the few people who can use it with ease. NYAHAHAHA! AND IT'S GREEN!!! OH SO PRETTY! 2GB of songs, photos and videos and FM radio! Smaller capacity than what I would really like (see Zen Vision:M for ideas) but I think this suits me a-okay! I have a MAXTOR 60GB EXTERNAL HARD DISK DRIVE MINI! Hahaha.
One thing though. I don't really like that it uses the joystick. I really like touch-senstive scroll buttons (like on the Vision:M) but you can't have everything. It came with 50% discounts on earphones and the silicone skin so I got that too. All in classic black so nothing resembles an iPod. No one, and I mean no one, can say I'm a Podwannabe.
On a different note, after getting my Zen, I surprisingly did not immediately race my way home to fiddle with it but went out with my aunt and sister for my uncle's birthday. Dinner at his yacht club (RSYC) then we went over to Orchard Towers to catch Singapore's most (in?)famous politcally-incorrect drag queen, Kumar!
ZOMG. I can't even begin to describe it. (S?)He was hilarious! Some of the jokes I've heard before (well, it's me so duh!) but his delivery was excellent. But the place is EXPENSIVE. I think if my uncle and aunt didn't know the owners of the place, the place would have a $20 cover charge and the drinks are off the chart! Definitely not for poor struggling students like me. So guess if I wanna go with my friends, I have to call my aunt to ask her to pull a few strings. Maybe after my A's. Hopefully, Kumar would still be there. And I can bring Gennie!
