I love my new blogskin!!! Spent two hours on it though, but wheeeeeeee~!!!

Going for a job interview tomorrow at St James Power Station with Ruizhen. I wonder how much it pays. I hope it pays well. I shall refrain from hopping over to Vivo City after that because I want to wait for Gennie to come back so we can explore some place both of us haven't been to before. Exploring a new mall with Gennie will be so awesome!!! It's like being in Hongkong, except in Singapore.

Anyway, dinner with Tony PRC (from Pre U Sem) at Kenny Roger's tmr! I wonder if I could con him into giving me the treat. LOL. Man, but I haven't had Kenny's in a /LONG/ time. I hope their standard hasn't dropped much/at all. And I hope there wouldn't be too long a queue.

I hate long queues. They take up time and effort and most of all it reminds me that I haven't got any special privilege and I'm simply an ordinary customer. And I am no ordinary customer. I confess, I am one of those difficult customers who loathe to wait, and would complain to the manager when the waiters/waitresses are surly, rude and slow. Well, the slow thing is relative. I'm not that completely unreasonable. Yet.

It's inherited, this lack of patience and understanding towards service staff. My mom and my sister are the REALLY difficult ones. They have very low tolerance for bad service and that is perhaps where I picked up my nasty behaviour from. So compared to them, I'm like spring, all bright suns and cool breeze while they are like winter, all cold, harsh and biting.

Maybe because my family and I have low threshold levels for bad service, we actually really take note of good service. I like helpful, earnest, polite and unobstrusive staff who try. Even if the task doesn't proceed as smoothly as it can, so long as I see the effort, it really just strikes a chord. And I have told restaurant managers when their waiter/waitresses are so well-behaved and efficient and yes, when I get good service, I generally try to persuade my friends to tip. Unless of course, I'm shit-broke.

Anyway, going on another different topic, I was just talking to Malcolm about this. I want the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" vcd/dvd for X'mas though I probably wouldn't get it because 1) it's not sold in Singapore (at least not to my knowledge) and 2) because so very few actually know what show I'm talking about.

In lieu of sounding really old, they just don't make them movies like they used to. If you do know the show, please tag so that I can prove to Malcolm that despite what he thinks, I am NOT the only one who knows the show.
