I went down for my job interview at St James Powerstation with Ruizhen today. I hope I get it! It'll be so fun to work at a club. An eye opener. Experience. Pays $6.50 an hour. 30 hours/week and it seems alrights because the pay falls just short of having CPF being deducted. Bahahaha. Plus, I still can tuition!!

Anyway. I went out with Tony to Kenny's after that, like I said in the previous post. It turned out to be a great date. Tony was such the gentleman. He was attentive, and he laughed at my jokes. He paid for dinner and accompanied me to Millenia Walk's Candy Empire and didn't mock my childish glee at all the candy. He even disagreed with the fact tt I'm fat. HOHO! SO MANY ADDITIONAL POINTS!!! Then he escorted me home even though he lived in Tanjong Katong and it was past 10pm. On the way home, he even commented that I'm easy to be around with cause there's no need for any form of pretense. Hoho. What a nice boy.

Pity he's flying back to China in two weeks and that he's only a friend. (Haha, Sorry Ro! No mudpie for ya!)

Damnit, I want my own Sam-shik!!!! (You'll know who I'm talking abt if you watched Kim Sam Soon).

Sam-shik ah, odi ae yo?! (Haha! YES TT IS KOREAN!)

I think every single girl should have pseudo-dates like I did tonight. It's the best kind of therapy. Thanks Tony!!! You're the best!

Something I wrote in my cellphone last night after I /just/ switched off the com.


Listening to Class 95, hoping to it'll lull me to sleep and it's playing Whitney Houston's most famous song "I Will Always Love You". And here, I realised how much I loveeeeeeee songs that I grew up with. They seem to be able to evoke so much more emotion than songs nowadays. Even older movies, like in the last post about Roger Rabbit.

These are the thoughts that crowd my mind at night when I cannot sleep. These songs from my formative years evoke such emotion that can make me feel lonely yet at the same time, the same feelings can reach into the depths of my being and touch me like no one and nothing ever can. It feels as though it will fill this void in me for the rest of my life.

But when I drift to sleep, lulled by their harmony and melody, and awake the next morning, I know this feeling will be gone and I am once agiain the Nadya that I am conscious of. The Nadya that feels as though there's something missing and is always always trying to occupy that space with something tangible.

Class 95: The best mix of music. And, at this moment, I must agree. Because it plays the best kind of music. The music I grew up with. I think if I ever have difficulty sleeping again, I'll just tune into the radio. Alrights. Time to snooze.
